Jacob is an experienced litigator with a particular focus on insolvency, corporations, complex commercial disputes, and equity and trusts. Jacob combines his personable nature with a technical understanding of the Corporations Act to help his clients navigate challenging, complex and novel legal situations.
After graduating with First Class Honours in Law from Macquarie University in 2020, Jacob spent a year as a Tipstaff in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Since then, Jacob has acted for clients in a wide range of large and complex commercial disputes. His experience includes criminal prosecutions under the Corporations Act, cases involving fraud, directors’ duties, liquidator, receiver, investor and shareholder claims, shareholder oppression, contracts and commercial property, trusts, breaches of fiduciary duty and confidence, and local and offshore asset tracing and recovery in an insolvency context. He has a keen interest in the intersection between insolvency and white-collar crime.
Jacob is passionate about achieving the best results for his clients – both commercially and legally.
