Jye is a creative and resourceful litigator with a strong foundation in restructuring, insolvency, and commercial disputes. Having worked full-time throughout his studies, he brings a wealth of pre-admission experience across both contentious and non-contentious corporate matters.
Having relocated to Sydney in March 2025 after several years with Gold Coast firms, Jye’s practice has involved acting for corporations and high-net-worth individuals in complex disputes, including corporate governance matters, shareholder actions, director liability claims, and contractual disputes.
Beyond his legal practice, Jye identified inefficiencies in law firm client acquisition and developed a legal-tech solution that he successfully scaled and sold. This entrepreneurial mindset enhances his ability to provide commercially astute advice to clients.
Outside of the law, Jye is a former national go-kart racer who has represented Australia internationally. Now, he channels his competitive drive into delivering exceptional legal outcomes. When he’s not working, he enjoys surfing, reading, and spending time with his partner and family.
